Development Wheel (DEW) provides internship opportunities to recent Bachelor/Master’s Degree university graduates (national/international) from social science, business and other disciplines wishing to work in the field of development under its Development Internship Program (DIP). As a Fair Trade organization DEW also appreciates national and international interns from the Fashion Design schools to develop new product design and development for its disadvantaged artisan groups. We also appreciate to have interns from social science graduates to work for our agriculture sector producer groups. The primary objective of internship is to provide the Bangladeshi and foreign Public and private university student’s opportunity to apply theoretical concepts to real life situations/hands on orientation. On the other hand, this is also an opportunity for the interns to develop their professional skills in the area of their interests.
DEW will approve only those internships which are relevant to its programs (such as Women's Internship), but will also benefit the organization in some way. DEW is also offering internship program for international students from different universities in the globe to learn practically in the field of community development and how NGO’s works in the developing countries like Bangladesh. DEW hosted intern for different universities of USA, Sweden, Germany, Poland, Hong Kong, Japan and North South, IUB, BRAC, Jahangirnagar ect.
